The Japanese airline All Nippon Airways, or ANA as it is commonly shortened,
has its main offices at Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT) and Haneda
Airport (HND). It is also called Zennikk (dots). It operates Asian, European,
North American and Oceania destinations and offers its domestic and
international flights. The air carrier has a total of approximately 100
destinations.
Online Booking Process
- Visit the official ANA
web site at ana.co.jp or employ the ANA mobile
app.
- After selecting between
One-way or Round-trip, enter the cities of
departure and arrival and the date of travel as well as the number of
passengers.
- Click on Search to
check the flights available and classes of prices.
- Select your preferred
flight along with any extras (seats, meals, and
bags).
- Provide the contact
detail of the passenger.
- Pay by credit card,
online banking or other method.
- Verify your reservation
and receive an email with your e-ticket.
Baggage Policy
The ANA flights have both carry-on bags and checked bags. There are weight
and size limitations that have to be observed depending on the fare that has
been ordered.
Bring-along Baggage
During boarding, every client is allowed to carry one luggage.
It must not weigh 10 kg (22 lb) or more and its total linear dimension should
not exceed 115 cm (45 in), in which the longest length of either part It should not exceed 55 cm
x 40 cm x 25 cm (22 in x 16 in x 10 in) in size, including the
handle and wheels.
The total linear dimension of bag will be 115 cm (45 in) or smaller where the
aircraft has 100 or more seats and 100 cm (39in) or smaller where the aircraft
has less than 100 seats.
Checked Baggage
Economy Class (and Premium Economy):
Up to 2 free checked pieces with
a length (linear) not exceeding 158 cm (62 in), including handle and wheels. In
the Economy Class, free checked baggage should not exceed 23 kg (50 lb per
piece).
Business Class:
one or two items whose maximum linear dimension
(including handle and wheels) is 158 cm/62 in. Business Class passengers
are permitted to carry 32 kilograms (70 lb) of free baggage each piece.
First Class:
Up to three components, with the largest linear dimensions (with
handle and wheels) being 158 cm/62 in. In the case of First Class passengers,
the free checked bags are limited to a maximum single piece baggage of 32
kg (70 lb).
Check-in
Check-in shall be made possible online and while at the airport when travelling
with ANA. The time of opening and closing of the check-in counter will depend
on your destination.
Check-in online
ANA passengers are allowed to check-in using online 24 and a half hours plus
75 minutes before the release of their flights. By carrying out a web check in,
one can book seats in All Nippon Airways and get updated about the flights.

Check-in at the airport
In case passengers have not made their check-ins online, they have to do this
at the airport. The check-in process can be completed at an ANA check-in
counter in the airport. There will be different check-in hours according to
different airports, so it is important to visit the ANA site and get the time at
which you should be checking into the airport.
