KLM has carried on using the name Royal Dutch Airlines that it was founded with, thus it remains the longest sustained airline that has its original name with a Dutch origin. The company called KLM offers global air travel of passenger and freight through its operations in Amsterdam. Depending on whether your flight is domestic or international, as well as how you check in, KLM offers varying check-in opening and closing times.
KLM passengers may check in online, either on the app or on the official site, KLM.com, in case they have a KLM reservation. The advantages of online check-in are covered in more detail here. Except for flights to and from the US (24 to 1 hour before departure), online check-in is open from 30 hours to 1 hour prior to your trip.
Travelers have the option of using the airport check-in counter or the self- service kiosks. In the case of European flights, passengers are supposed to check in two to forty minutes prior to a flight departure, whereas in the case of intercontinental flights, it should be three to one hour prior to a flight departure at staffed check-in counters.
The self-service kiosk at Schiphol airport allows travelers to check in whenever they choose on the day of departure. Travelers must check in at least two hours before to departure at all other airports.
