In over 55 years of its existence, Korean air has helped in the development of
the world aviation and they are not going anywhere. In 2024 alone, Korean
Air, the national carrier of South Korea and one of the top 20 airlines
worldwide, carried more than 23 million passengers. Serving 116 cities across
all continents are more than 20,000 employees and a fleet of 161 aircraft.
A few kilometres outside of Seoul, the Incheon International Airport (ICN)
serves as its primary base. Korean Air connects its passengers there to 13
South Korean cities, such as Busan, Jeju, and Daegu, as well as international
locations in 40 other countries.

- Enter the origin,
destination, dates, trip type, and passengers after
selecting the flight choice.
- Choose your desired
flight and class of travel.
- Enter the
passenger's contact information.

Carry-on baggage:
Economy: one piece, up to 12 kg
Prestige and First: two pieces with a maximum weight of 18 kg
The size of the whole luggage carried together with the handle and the wheels
is not to be greater than 40 cm width, 20 cm height as well as 55 cm depth.
Economy class members can also carry along with them one additional
personal item e.g. a laptop, briefcase or handbag but the total weight must not
warrant a value (weight) of more than 12,000.
Baggage checked:
The combined width, height, and depth of all checked luggage cannot exceed
158 cm/62 in. There will be fees for overweight and excess baggage.
Depending on the membership level, SKYPASS members will be eligible for
an additional baggage allowance.
To and from United States Korea:
3 x 32 kg First Class, 2 x 32 kg Prestige Class, 2 x 23 kg Economy Class
Brazil to/from Korea/USA:
First Class: 3 x 32kg; Economy Class: 2 x 32kg; Prestige Class: N/A
Every other foreign flight:
Three 32 kg in First Class, two 32 kg in Prestige Class, and one 23 kg in
Economy Class
Check-In Details:
Online Check-In
The Korean Air website is the place to check in online.
Domestic Flights:
48hours prior to the actual flight, online check will be
opened up and close 40 minutes later to the actual flight.
In case of international flights, the online check-in process can be found 48
hours before the departure and shuts down an hour ahead of time. The online
check-in takes place 24 hours a day and closes an hour before the departure
of the flights arriving to and leaving the USA and Canada.
Airport Check-In
Check-in at the airport is closed twenty minutes prior to the planned departure
time for flights within the country.
The check-in for international flights closes forty minutes before the scheduled
time of departure. 60 minutes at African, Middle East, European, and North
American airports.
It is often necessary to refer to the advice of the airport since the time of
closing can be different according to their regulations.
